Apollo® Concentrators (US patents 6,269,957, 6,357,601) combine the highest recovery of regenerated cellulose membrane devices with faster concentration of protein samples than possible with recent high-speed devices of comparable retention. They deliver quantitative recovery of micrograms of retained protein (>90%). They improve bio-safety by eliminating aerosol generation (without air-locking), and by eliminating need for hand contact with wetted surfaces (no invert spin required). Apollo 7 mL provides four times more salt/buffer exchange in a single spin (1000x concentration factor).
Ultrafiltration
Apollo ultrafiltration devices are used for purification, concentration or desalting of proteins. They are available in 7 mL and 20mL versions, each having 3 available membrane retention ratings: 9k Da, 20k Da, and 150k Da.

Microfiltration
Apollo 20mL microfiltration devices are used for general-purpose removal, concentration or purification of suspended particulates and colloids. They are available with two types of membrane: hydrophobic 0.45µm PP (polypropylene) and hydrophilic .45µm PES (modified polyethersulfone).
